FAQs
If the METHOD page for floral preservation orders still leaves you with questions, please read below.
Since I am a multi-faceted artist I do my best to keep this page organized and informative. Please email any questions and concerns, and I will be happy to answer them. Below is more info that may help.
How do I prep my flowers for shipping?
Place flowers/bouquet immediately in water as soon as you can. Keep in a cool, dark environment, and avoid wrapping in plastic. Overnight and next day shipping is best. 72 hours or less for best results to avoid wilting. If flowers are dry and wilted, preservation is still possible, but fewer options are available.
Will my flowers keep their color?
Yes and no. Some flowers preserve and hold color better than others. Color correction is provided in cost. You will see some discoloration and antiquing-these are handmade items and imperfections are extremely hard to avoid, yet all precautions are taken.
How do I care for my piece of art once I receive it?
All resin artwork is made by hand with high quality materials and finishes. Epoxy resin is UV sensitive, and it is best to keep your pieces out of direct sunlight to slow down the yellowing process. Stay away from harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaning agents-resin can scratch easily. A micro cloth used with glass cleaner will do the job. You can also use a damp soft cloth with a gentle all natural cleanser.
I see that you do much more than preservation. What if I have questions about other services?
Most of what I offer is listed on the PRODUCTS page. Emailing me about portraiture, commissioned paintings, and decorative finishes is best. I have been painting furniture and walls since 1998 and still love when those opportunities come my way. Visiting my socials will show a wider portfolio throughout the years.
